This policy applies from 7 October 2026 and covers coins-info.com. The operator of this website is responsible for the processing described below. You can reach us about anything in it at [email protected].

Short version

  • You can read every page without an account, and there is nothing to sign up for.
  • We run no advertising networks, social-media pixels or cross-site trackers.
  • Visitor statistics, where collected, come from Umami, a tool that works without cookies.
  • We never ask for wallet addresses, seed phrases, private keys or exchange logins.

Information processed when you visit

Technical logs

Like almost any web server, ours records basic request data: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page and your browser’s user-agent string. These records are used to keep the site running, to spot errors and to defend against abuse such as automated attacks. They are kept only for a limited period and are not used to build profiles of readers. The site may be delivered through a content delivery and security network, which processes the same kind of request data for the same purposes.

Page statistics

To understand which guides are useful, we may count page views with Umami. Umami’s documentation states that it does not use cookies and does not collect personal information, and it does not follow you to other websites. What we see are totals: pages viewed, referring sites, broad country and device type.

Cookies

Coins-Info does not set advertising or tracking cookies. A security provider may set a strictly necessary cookie to tell people apart from bots; that cookie is not used for marketing.

Emails you send us

If you write to [email protected], we receive your address and whatever you include. We use it only to read and answer your message and to act on corrections. Messages are deleted once they are no longer needed, and you can ask us to delete yours earlier. Please do not send passwords, recovery phrases or identity documents; we never need them.

Guides link to sources such as regulators, project documentation and courts. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover.

Where data-protection laws such as the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation apply, the logs and statistics above rest on legitimate interests (running a secure, working website), and email handling rests on your request. You may ask for access to, correction or deletion of personal data we hold about you, object to processing, and complain to your local data-protection authority. Send requests to the address above.

Children

The site is a general reference and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change, this page will be updated and the date at the top revised.
